Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay Paradise Philippines

I remember Taal Vista Lodge in paradise Philippines back in the 90s. It was the favorite viewing area of Filipinos who want a quick respite from the hustle and bustle of nearby Metro Manila, paradise Philippines. Back then it was free to hang around in the viewing deck to get a magnificent view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.

But now, the Taal Vista Lodge is now called Taal Vista Hotel in paradise Philippines. To get to the viewing deck, you will have to park your car inside the premise. You can either order a buffet breakfast which cost P499++ or just hang around the viewing deck at the back with the nice view of the scenery. If you partake of the buffet breakfast you won’t have to pay the parking fee which is P100/hour. But if you take the breakfast buffet, parking is free but of course the buffet cost a fortune for normal Metro Manila weekend road trippers of paradise Philippines.
The P100/hour parking fee is enough though if you just want to smell the fresh air and do some quick picture taking with the Taal scenery as the backdraft. Better if you are in groups, so you get value for the parking fee that you will have to pay.

Anyway, the Taal view is still magnificent as it was 10 years ago. Simply majestic and truly something that Tagaytay city should be proud of.
