Celebrating with Life in Ark Avilon, Paradise Philippines

A zoo in the city? Yes, that may sound ridiculous but Avilon Zoo in Rodriguez Rizal, paradise Philippines brought some of its animals in the heart of the city. The place? A giant Ark in the heart of Fontera Verde in Ortigas called Ark Avilon, in paradise Philippines.

Ark Avilon just opened several days ago, and it is having a dry run this week. If wild animals in a captive environment pleases you, then you will enjoy your visit in Ark Avilon. The place is having a discounted “dry run rate” of P125/pax until Dec. 7. After which visitors will be charge P250/pax.

So what are you going to see at Ark Avilon? A couple of tigers, jaguars, monkeys, eagles and a lonesome aging lion. There were a couple of turtoise, an owl, a couple of ponies and alligators.

You might want to check out Cafe Amadeo on the upper deck of the Ark where you get to enjoy a nice view of Ortigas, Marikina and Antipolo, paradise Philippines.

Ark Avilon is good place for kids to commune with animals. But some might find the regular rate of P250 a tad heavy on the pocket though. So better hurry until Dec. 7 to avail of the promo rate.

By the way, chanced upon Filipino big time blogger Ajay there who incidentally just left a comment in my other blog. Watch out for her post about Ark Avilon soon.

Actually, i saw this featured in ‘BOY&KRIS’ at napa-WOW ako sa ganda ng place. sabi sa episode, 200/pax.now for 250/pax pala, i would agree with ‘JENG’–medyo expensive sya–if same rate din for the kids diba and pa’no yung mga babies?250 din?…and 1more question kung marami ba kaming magkakasama, do we get discounts and do we also have to call for a reservations?

Jeng -> Yeah, I think the entrance fee for chidren is the same with adults.

Kirby – > I’m not sure if there’s a discount for big groups.
