Balai Laiya is a small resort located in the sleepy town of Laiya in San Juan Batangas. For a cheap P2,150/head (inclusive of 4 meals), you can enjoy a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the madding city life. Now is the best time to spend your weekends on the beach as there are still few Manila city dwellers who go there.

Balai Laiya resort is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway, especially if you are looking for serenity, not too much sun, cool sea water, and a good night’s sleep with the sound of the sea waves putting you to sleep.

I am planning to bring my family there. My concern is ofcourse, cost of accommodation. Anyone who can give me a brighter look on this? My budget is so tight, but I want to experience the feel being in Paradise. The cost per head (as stated on this page) is like having a 3 days 2 nights in Boracay incluidng fully air conditioned room for 4 (with ref and tv set) 3 set breakfast 2 set lunch and 3 buffet dinner, the only differenceis the way and cost being there and the beach-long bars and restos waiting for you.
