Nice Pictures. I wish that I could go in time and go back to these places and have taken pics myself. Do you have pictures of Paoay lake and other beautiful churches in Ilocos Sur and Norte (Sta. Lucia, Sarrat) and Scenic views in Narvacan and the “mini desert” going to Suba Beach in Ilocos Norte?

    Thanks..

Hi Gerry – I wasn’t able to take pictures of Paoay Lake, we’ve only gone to the church. as for the other churches check out my flickr site -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/arnoldzafra/sets/72157604544333171/

These are really superb shots! Is it advisable to bring kids for an Ilocos road trip?

  9. aczafra on April 20, 2008 at 8:07 pm

Hi Sherra – Thanks! I guess it depends on your kid. We were blessed with such a nice kid who was able to withstand 10 long hours inside the car. :-)

GRABE.. I love Ilocos. I went there already. And believe me, you’ll fall inlove to the whole Ilocos region in an INSTANT. I would love to go back there and visit the other tourist sites there like the Tirad Pass, the Hot springs in Ilocos Sur… AND MORE. The only downfall of going there is the long drive. But it’s all worth it. **,

    Great website!

Just a correction, the first pic is actually Bantay Bell Tower – famous for the late FPJ’s Ang Panday movies. Bantay is a town that you’ll pass through just before entering Vigan City.

This is Vigan Cathedral and bell tower (credit to the unknown photographer):
