Kusina Salud in San Pablo Laguna
Kusina ni Salud is located along Maharlika Highway in San Pablo Laguna. It’s a few kilometers away from the more famous Villa Escudero resort spot in Quezon. Kusina offers up a garden-type ambiance with the main restaurant designed like an old spanish house while the interior is a mixture of various chinese ornaments and accessories.
Kusina ni Salud offers Filipino dishes with some authentic viands including “Tapang Kalabao” (Carabao Meat). Best entree would have to be the Lumpiang Ubod. There’s just something different to it that would make you yearn for more.
Food prices are reasonable and staff services is great. Kusina ni Salud is a perfect stop-over if you’re on your way to Bicol or Quezon. Best to visit the place during lunch time. For more details and information visit Kusina Salud’s Multiply site.
Mmm…. tapang kalabaw, now that’s a delight. My hometown in Quezon has lots of that but since staying in Manila I rarely get to taste one. That place may be worth visiting soon…

My mom’s hometown is in Nagcarlan, near San Pablo. Next time when we visit the relatives, Ill tell them about Kusina Salud and ask them to try the Lumpiang Ubod hehe.
